CDVCA is a voluntary, non-profitable organization, self-funded by its members to continue to engage cricketers above the age of 40 years to play in veterans’ matches and tournaments. The core objective of CDVCA is to promote physical and mental well-being through sport and team sociability.
Veterans Cricket is just the perfect way to continue or even begin your cricket journey! The competitions are growing across India and in other parts of the world to provide cricket enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in a variety of veteran age groups.
Providing both mental and physical health benefits, staying involved in the game also allows players to retain that competitive edge in a social setting.
Members of CDVCA will be able to represent their association in local competitions against players of similar age groups in a social, welcoming and inclusive environment.
With an intention to get recognised by the BCCI, CDVCA aims to organize local competitions in a professional manner. Players can also participate in a number of statewide competitions and gatherings that take place across the country.
The CDVCA pathway also provides the opportunity for players to represent their State or Zone at National Championships for each of the Men’s Over 40’s, 50’s age groups.
